STATUS OF DEEDS IN PROVIDING LEGAL PROTECTION AND LEGISTING THE TRANSFER OF LAND RIGHTS
Abstract
The deed made by the PPAT has two functions related to the transfer of land rights. The first function can be traced in Article 1 number 4 PP No. 37 of 1998 regarding the concept of a PPAT deed, namely evidence of certain legal actions regarding land rights and functions, which are both described in Article 2 paragraph (1) PP No. 37 of 1998, namely the PPAT deed as a registration tool for changing data on transfer of land registration and encumbrance of land rights can only be registered if it is proven by a PPAT deed so that therefore in this case the position and role of the PPAT is important in determining the legitimacy of the transfer and encumbrance land rights according to the authority of the PPAT which has been regulated in Article 2 of Government Regulation Number 37 of 1998 concerning PPAT Position Regulations
